The Tools for Schools™ Career Tree™ is a classroom tool to show the value of career and technical education (CTE) and create an ongoing dialogue with students about what careers are possible and how to get there. This tool is designed by showing a few of the possible career paths that CAD opens up for every student.
The tree graphic depicts a root system, trunk, and various branch levels, showing the different levels achievable by starting with a solid CAD education. The Career Tree visually illustrates Education with Purpose™ and the opportunities and competitive advantage that CAD offers each student.
The goal of this tool is to help educate all students on typical industry paths and paths that aren’t so typical. Each student must present on an approved, CAD related career path that is NOT listed on the CAD Technician Career Tree™. Extra points will be awarded to students who find someone within that particular field to come speak to the class.
